By 5:30 we had reached Epping. We seem to be running 6 minutes ahead of schedule compared to the timetable. Perhaps there is scope to speed things up compared to the official figures? The top speed is supposed to be 100km per hour. 8/n

It’s opening day for #SydneyMetro and I’ll be doing some live Tweeting about it. The line extends the existing Tallawong (in Rouse Hill) to Chatswood line through to Sydenham under the harbour. A further Sydenham to Bankstown extension will open next year. 1/n

@uggugg @HPNfooty This is all great stuff! Some of it aligns with what I've heard from the club side and with some other perspectives too. Do you mind if I ask how long ago this was?

Is this all just "being a wing"?

@CapitalCityCody @HPNfooty Midfield matchups certainly got harder to keep compared to when I started. I think clubs didn't care too much about the actual midfield matchups as they weren't really head to head - the exception being tags which would be quite easy to identify.

@CapitalCityCody @HPNfooty The software (at the time) could support recording a loose man in defence (and even 2 loose men!) but we had it couldn't handle a forward pushing up to stoppages. We had to identify which player was the 6th forward and leave him on the half-forward line.

@HPNfooty @CapitalCityCody Used to do matchups for CD, but before 6-6-6 came into play. It's easiest to work out the positions at centre bounces but if there's been a long time between goals we wouldn't hesitate to swap matchups/positions if we believed they had changed.

@CapitalCityCody Would be great to know how granular and frequent the logging of positions is, if it's only centre bounces that probably doesn't tell us a lot about these sorts of multifaceted roles
