Hope Uzordimma, the governor of Imo State, has received the APC nomination form for the 2027 Imo West Senate seat. The twist is that Hope Uzordimma's term as governor ends on January 14, 2028. However, in June 2027, the next Senate will take office. This implies that the governor will step down and forfeit his final six months in office in order to serve in the Senate..

@EngineerAdam123 He should use that money to build power plants for his factories. Why spend that huge amount of money every year, when it can build you power plants?

Yesterday, Channels TV interviewed Dangote and asked why his cement and other locally produced goods are expensive. Here’s what he said: “All the companies you know under me spend at least ₦95 billion every single month on diesel alone. The cement plant in Obajana alone consumes about 50 million litres of diesel every month. At the end of the year, our total diesel cost is over ₦1 trillion annually. That’s not a small amount that people can ignore. So the cost of our products, especially cement, has to be high because from production to distribution, we rely heavily on diesel.” That was Dangote’s explanation. Now think about it. A man spending over ₦1 trillion yearly just on diesel, not even counting maintenance, staff salaries, allowances, taxes, and other expenses. Do you even understand what ₦1 trillion means? 😒 For comparison, Jigawa State with a population of over 8.2 million has never had a ₦1 trillion budget till today. With all this wealth, Dangote still has just his three daughters. May God protect us from poverty in this world and the hereafter. 👌

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the greater grison. I know you think it's a honey badger, but it's not. Differences between honey badger and greater grison: 1. The number one feature I use to distinguish them is the ears. Honey badgers do not flap outside like the one you see in this video.Their external ears are almost invisible. 2. Greater grison are smaller and slimmer. They look more like ferrets. Honey badgers are stockier and broader. 3. The white hairs that run from the head of a greater grison almost disappear at the back. Honey badger's white hair is more prominent at the back, most especially on the flanks.

Four words I find most annoying in Nigerian English: 1. Menses: OMG this word annoys me soooo much. My mom used to say it a whole lot and oh it icked me sooooo bad😭😭 2. Protein: Mind you, what’s being referred to is the likes of meat, chicken, egg etc. Why do we have to call it “protein”? 3. Toor: I hate this word so much. It’s so irritating mehn. Like why is your response “toor”? Can’t you think of something more witty? 4. Toilet being used as a verb: As in, “do you want to toilet?”, “go and toilet na” 😭😭😭😭😭😭 5. Hubby/Hubstar: “Why? What? Wetin happen?” 6. Undies: What is that? Why are you shy you say “underwear”? Very common amongst nigerian moms. I dislike it. 7. Smiles: Why would you say that? What do you mean by smiles? Doesn’t that sound weird to you?
