@vaughanilla_cos The bit that sucks is that Karen Fukahara actually talked about how she went to a vocal coach to learn what a person who has not spoken for years sounds like. She practiced and did one-take of it in S4's last scene and Kripke as director immediately told her to just sound normal.

@vaughanilla_cos Really feel like they should've built up to her talking. Like maybe she talks to herself in practice, or y'know, we actually see some of that speech therapy she talked about. It should've led from her last moment in S4 in steps instead of fluent and comprehensible immediately.

Steven Soderbergh says his upcoming documentary about John Lennon and Yoko Ono will include roughly “10 minutes” worth of generative AI. “AI has been helpful in creating thematically surreal images that occupy a dream space rather than a literal space. And that’s been really fun because you need a Ph.D. in literature to tell it what to do.
