You can have the worst business idea in the world and people in California will go, "hell yeah man give it a go." There's a reason terms like "Frosted Flakes" describes Californians. But what's the alternative? Give up on yourself before you try? That's not the California way.

Most people who left California regret it. There was a herd instinct to leave. People who live in California take it for granted. The people here are better. Why? Because it's HARD to make it here. Sometimes feels impossible. The ones who can find a way, they have an X factor.
