For B2B international transactions and C2B transactions this is a major deal, and it represents most of the global payments industry. Banks wires aren’t a solution, you can’t check transactions bi-laterally (ledger) so you can’t do business instantly, and it’s slow and expensive.

Why I stopped issuing large invoices with PayPal as a business: Received $7,567 in my PayPal account from a $8,000 invoice. The rest? Credit card+PayPal fees (unclear which one was how much, PayPal doesn't break it) Now I understand why business invoices ask for bank transfer.

People continue to underrate how often cryptocurrency payments are superior not even because of censorship resistance but just because they're so much more convenient.
