Trainees showcased their investigative achievements with oral and poster presentations on research to shape the future of cardiothoracic surgery. Ralph J. Damiano Jr., M.D., Evarts Graham Professor of Surgery at @washumedicine, delivered a keynote lecture.

In May, the Department of Cardiac Surgery hosted its 6th Annual Kirsh Research Day at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center.
