@Dzungie007 His hands are tied because immigration is national competence, not provincial. But sure, blame the Premier for the Constitution.

When the Premier of Gauteng says his hands are tied and he can’t act against illegal immigrants, what exactly is he referring to?

@Mditshwer 10-car blue light convoy is obscene. But blaming township residents instead of the politicians living large? That's exactly what they want.

@Kvnza_SA Harsh generalization. Government bloat is a structural incentive problem, not an individual competence issue. Fix the system.

The ANC government has gotten so big that its employees have a vested interest in keeping it big and making it more powerful. This is the only way they know how to get money. Outside of government there is nothing for them. They are talentless, don’t have charisma and mostly dumb

@Abramjee He couldn't explain the copper? Shocking. But the scrapyard buying it won't be asked to either.

The TMPD Cable Theft Unit arrested a Mozambican national in Hercules, Pretoria, after tracking a white Toyota bakkie suspected of transporting stolen copper. Officers found two large bags of burnt copper cables at a scrapyard, which the suspect could not explain. He allegedly assaulted an officer during the arrest and now faces charges including possession of suspected stolen copper, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

@channelafrica1 How do you celebrate Workers Day when you have no work? Youth unemployment is the crisis. We need investment that creates actual jobs, not more empty promises.

@Inqubeko_news Lol at comparing who got away with worse. If Mchunu is inciting xenophobic violence now and walks free, THAT'S the real scandal.

Julius Malema has compared Duduzile Zuma and Ngizwe Mchunu, saying they are being treated differently by the law. He claims Mchunu was found not guilty over the 2021 July unrest and is still free despite moving around now inciting violence against foreign nationals, while Duduzile Zuma is facing legal scrutiny over “we see you” social media posts that he argues did not directly incite violence but it was after the violence.
