@LocoMeier @AgoristN @dephyre In a competitive market this is not rewarded. The government doesn’t have to place price controls to stop grocery stores from charging $150/banana because consumers will go to another grocery where bananas are cheap. Same for housing.

@FeatherMyTar @TheCalvinCooli1 It’s cheaper to the taxpayer if they don’t have to prop up a failing government monopoly. As for your $7, that monopoly mandated by law on 1st class mail means there isn’t the real competition which would drive prices lower.

@umpquarover @TheCalvinCooli1 Send an envelope through FedEx or ups. See if it's cheaper. Hint: about $7 more

This smarmy Marxist doesn't see taxes primarily as a way to provide necessary public services. He sees them as revenge. He celebrates the confiscation of wealth he did nothing to earn. This is pure class envy, and it's hideous.

Say what you want about the guy but he obviously ran an extraordinary campaign

Past Tucker Carlson, in 2009 - when he was still acting as a journalist - describing the problem with the crackpot alt-media version of Tucker Carlson in 2026:
“So in the absence of any universally recognised standard or source of news, what happens? Well, rumours take the place of news. Ultimately you end up with an electorate that is poorly informed and deeply suspicious. And in that environment, all sorts of crazy conspiracy theories bloom and take the place of facts.”
