@ConeOfArc I hate how discourse on German tanks has gotten so annoying that people won’t even let you acknowledge the truth that German tanks had good armor. “Erm Sherman had good HE and was like more reliable and cheaper” we know 💔

While the 75mm armed Sherman was still capable of dealing with the German Tiger and Panther this was by no means an easy task. As these diagrams show at most angles the 75 was all but useless and even against the side of the Tiger it required being at closer ranges

@hugodeboss1 @ConeOfArc @DeutschWatamate Curious in what regards you think the 262 was a "radically" better fighter. It was faster and had better armament but it had so many flaws and was a heavily compromised design due to the material shortages. The 51 could fly longer on a tank than the life span of a 262 engine
