Golf exposes who you are. Short game wizard, optimized decisions, good vibes - That's how I shoot mid-70s. Brit in Oklahoma.

Attention new golfers, "gym wear" has no place on the course.

@unboxedking I had the same thought. If you’ve never played golf before, what are you picking?

#5 don't play music louder than it needs to be If I can hear it more than 15 feet from your cart, it's too loud, stop being an obnoxious loser

My watch said 159, the golf cart said 153, my instinct said 156 so I skulled it 35 right down the middle.

@unboxedking Yeah exactly I love team games. I’m fortunate that my friends got me into golf and I play with them often

I’ve played pretty much every popular golf format at this point. Stroke play. Scrambles. Best ball. Skins. Nassau. Wolf. I never thought I’d say this, but my favorite might be 2v2 alternate shot match play. I played this format at True Blue in Myrtle Beach. Two teams, each with an 8 handicap and an 18 handicap. It was electric. I never felt pressure playing golf before like that. Having to think about setting your partner up was just so much fun. I wasn’t just managing my game and I had to play more conservative. Putting and tee shots became much more intense. It’s stressful, strategic, and somehow more fun than any format I’ve played.

Yeah it's painful, my old man is a short game wizard, When I was a kid I'd out drive him, out strike him on irons, but he'd bury every putt inside 10 feet and get up and down like sevvy. He beat me for years like this, drove me mad but over time I inherited the short game wizardry

For me there is no better feeling than a -2 where I hit it like trash and putted lights out. These are the rounds that are the most meaningful to me.

@unboxedking @OldRomanProverb No. I doubt that’s a consideration. The absolute worst story I’ve heard through the decades is someone breaking a large window and there was dispute about who was responsible for replacing it
