I see why people hate @Ticketmaster. I bought 5 floor seats to see En Vogue, TLC, and Salt N Pepa. But then my friends and I decided we wanted the VIP seats. I called Ticketmaster to see if I could exchange the tickets for VIP seats, which would have meant $1000 extra. No problem. But Ticketmaster told me I can’t do that because you’re only allowed to buy a maximum of 8 tickets. Apparently even if they refunded me for the 5 tickets, it still counts against the 8-ticket maximum. Why would 5 tickets that I wouldn’t have after a refund still count against the ticket allotment? What kind of goofy, moronic policy is that? Basically, you decided you don’t want more of my money. Make it make sense.

I see him all the time in that same energy jumping off the phone, like: I got to go, I got to do this with the kids, Blue has a game, this one has that…. It’s super impressive to see. And it stands out even more because he’s got the world on his shoulders, and those kids don’t miss a beat without him in their lives, no matter what he had going on. That’s what I witnessed, that’s for sure. You know, he’s very family centered. He has a great relationship with his mom, his grandmother, his wife. His mother’s awesome, his grandmother’s awesome. A beautiful family, powerful women. I think he’s just focused on the next generation, honestly. He had a hell of a time—he’s still having a hell of a time. But I think he’s definitely preparing these kids to graduate them to the next level, to hold the torch even higher than he and his wife are holding it for them. Me and him, we talk about life. We don’t really talk about music, unless there’s something that’s sticking out. Or me trying to get him to go back in the studio one last time.
