Remember when John Thune said that Trump can make no recess appointments. Look who was seated behind him - smiling ear to ear. Collins and Murkowski. Thune is a useless RINO!

People ask me why I'm so fond of goats. Here's why. A goat will wander up the side of a Welsh cliff that a sheep wouldn't attempt and a hiker wouldn't survive, eat the brambles and gorse and thistles that nothing else on the farm can stomach, and turn the lot into milk so digestible that even the people allergic to cow's dairy can drink it without incident. She thrives on land that grows nothing else. She fertilises it as she goes. She maintains scrubland that would otherwise become a fire hazard. She produces milk with smaller fat globules and a different protein structure to cow's milk, which is why human infants have been raised on it for ten thousand years when nothing else was on offer. Her cheese is the oldest cheese on earth. Her meat fed the Mediterranean before olive oil was a brand. Her hide bound the first books. Her hair made the tents that crossed the Sahara. Her milk built the Maasai and the Berbers and the goatherds of every uplands the planet has. And the modern response to all of this has been to tell us she is somehow the wrong animal. The cheek of it. I'll back the creature that has fed humans on every continent except Antarctica over an almond drink invented by a man with a blender in 1998.

I can tell you, because @JeffBezos sent the FBI to my door over lies. You have none. We fought and won. Four years of hell. Four million in legal feels. We lost our home, our careers, our future. We had 4 babies. I'm a lawyer. We barely survived.
Jonathan Gross@Jon_Gross

Answer me this: what safeguards exist to prevent the FBI/DOJ (republican or democrat) from breaking down your door, throwing you in jail pretrial, and indicted you for bogus charges? What recourse would you have? So long as the answer is "none" we are not a free country.

Mocking a Democrat is not funny to the members of SNL. It's cringe and gross and weird That is because they are religious adherents to the Democratic Church first. They are comedians second. Religious trumps everything. A good Christian cannot make fun of his faith in a way that matters without feeling guilty about it. In the same way, SNL comedians can't make fun of their religious sect in public. It would hurt their standing with the priests and elders. They need to submit their comedy to the approval of their religious leaders. Does this harm their ability to be funny? Absolutely. But it doesn't matter because their audience is filled with their fellow parishioners who wouldn't laugh if they actually heard a good joke that poked at their pieties. It has always been this way and it will always be this way.
Jack@jackunheard

Ilhan Omar saying “World War Eleven” is perfect content for SNL and yet they didn’t even touch it. Instead, hey mock an assassination attempt on Trump.

US Oil & Gas Association
Like tens of thousands of other rural families through out the West, my family has been dry farming and running cows out here for 175 years. In 1992 I left the farm and went to DC instead where I have worked on western water policy ever since. 1992 was the same year the climate change religion was officially established And I will say from 30 years of rigorous institutional analysis that DC policy experts and NGOs know squat compared to western farmer and ranchers. It's one thing to bang out charts and graphs on a MacBook. It's another to decide when the best time to bring the cows in and what to plant next year based on how the range looks and what was decided at the irrigation company meeting last Tuesday. Bottom line - a 5th generation farmer and rancher will know far more about drought cycles than any candy-assed climate keyboard warrior ever will. We have solid rigorous institutional analysis because we live it every year.
The Global Warmer🔥🌏 🔥@TheGlobalWarmer

@US_OGA The “U.S. Oil & Gas Association” weighing in with “as a fifth-generation Utahn…” is extremely funny. Nothing says rigorous institutional analysis like an entire fossil-fuel trade association suddenly becoming one guy’s pioneer diary.

Bass and Raman are friends. They are trying to squeeze Spencer Pratt out of the race, then they will cut deals with each other. There is no guarantee Pratt makes the runoff. If you want Pratt to be mayor but “strategically” vote for Bass, you will most likely end up electing DSA loon Nithya Raman as mayor. Vote for Spencer. If one person gets 51% in the primary, it is over. No second chances. Spencer has to win. Ignore any “tactics” people try to push. That will actually block Spencer Pratt from getting in. Do not take anything for granted. Vote for the candidate you want to win. It is that simple. Vote Spencer Pratt for mayor. End of story.

"One of the people he met at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware was Charles Simmons. His 28-year-old son, Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, was among the six crew members killed when their refueling plane crashed in Iraq last week. Simmons said he spoke separately to Hegseth and President Donald Trump at Dover and was grateful for the warmth that both men showed him. Simmons came away from Dover with a better impression of the war’s architects than he had when he arrived. Trump teared up and hugged him, evincing warmth and compassion at odds with the president’s public persona, Simmons said. He also credited Trump for looking him “straight in the eye.” “He extended his condolences father to father and conveyed how difficult it is to make decisions to put the children of other parents in peril,” Simmons said. As for Hegseth, “When I talked to him, I got the impression that he was torn because he seemed to be a very compassionate man, faced with difficult decisions as it pertains to war,” Simmons said. “I also let him know that Tyler was my only son. And you could see the emotion on his face. And I think those kinds of things you can’t fake,” he continued. “I was pleasantly surprised because the perception is they [Trump and Hegseth] don’t care, they’re going to do what they want to do,” he said. “I got to see a different side of them up close and personal.” "Simmons recalled something his son had told him before volunteering for the mission that ended his life. “He said, ‘Dad, I can’t give you any details, but if civilians knew what we knew, a lot of the criticism [of the war] would cease,” he said"

Has a single Republican in power bothered to learn the name of even one of the 13 service members killed in Trump’s war? Every Republican on the hill oughta be hounded by reporters re: their complicity in these deaths.

We keep hearing the same old question that Candace’s flock keeps asking: “If Candace is so wrong, why hasn’t Erika Kirk sued her?” I’ve answered that tenfold, but the short of it is this: she may be waiting for the gavel to drop on Tyler. That’s the strategic move. Because once that happens, Erika would be in a position to name her price in a defamation suit against Candace. People tend to forget that Erika Kirk has a Juris Master in American Legal Studies, in addition to Regis University athletics, an ASU double major, and current Liberty doctoral studies. Candace has a GED from homeschooling. I’m not sayin’—but I’m just sayin’. Erika studied law. Candace performs certainty. Those are not the same credentials. #CandaceOwens #erikakirk

We got a tip. 52 undocumented children in our city. Suspected victims of sex trafficking. We ran it by our attorney. He sent it to Sacramento. Sacramento wrote us back and told us we could not check on those kids. It would violate state law. That was when I knew we had to do something.
