What I dreaded most has happened 💔 With a heavy heart, I announce the passing unto glory of my beloved father, Elder Clement Odunayo Oyedele, who slept in the Lord on the 25th of April, 2026. This is an incredibly difficult time for my family and myself as we come to terms with this profound loss, now faced with the reality of life without our parents. May God grant him eternal rest and grant us the strength to bear this loss; Amen

Growing up, he was one of the most steady men I knew; disciplined, and firm. Yet every evening, myself and my siblings looked forward to his return. Almost every night, he came home with akara; Bean Cake always making sure there were extra crumbs because he knew we loved them even more than the main thing. Even when I was sleepy, I would ask my younger sibling to wake me up once Daddy arrived. Missing that moment was never an option. It became our quiet ritual. From him, I learned strength without cruelty. I learned resilience, and what it truly means to hold on to God with quiet, dogged faith. I saw this most clearly during one of his lowest seasons; months in the hospital, when everything felt uncertain. In that place of waiting and vulnerability, his faith remained steady and unshaken. Watching him trust God completely shaped me more than words ever could. I remember when I wrote the toughest exam of my life during my master’s program. While still inside the exam hall, I told myself I would be coming back to write it again the following year, it was just too hard. When I stepped out, I called my dad in tears, telling him that I thought I might have an extra year because the exam I just wrote was hard. He calmly told me to wipe my tears and not be bothered. He reminded me that I already had my first degree, and that it was normal not to find every course easy. In that moment, I felt relieved. I felt reassured. I felt supported. When my mum went to be with the Lord in 2020, everything changed. I knew I could never fill the space she left behind, but I wanted my dad to know he wasn’t alone. No matter how busy the day was, I called him every single day consistently, without fail for over three years. Not to replace what was lost, but to remind him that love was still present. Thank you for fathering me in the way of the Lord. You will live long in sound health to hand me over to my husband in Jesus' name; Amen Happy Birthday, Baami🤍 #themotunglobal

We’re already 18 days into 2026. If you’re serious about japa but don’t have money, you should have applied to at least 20 scholarships by now. I post scholarships daily on this page, and many are still open. I also run a free WhatsApp group where I mentor people at no cost. We have Q&A sessions every Saturdays and now Sundays, and I personally answer questions. It’s been great so far. If you’re in the WhatsApp group, share a brief experience there so far, if you want to join, type “I’m interested”

In 2024, I was earning ₦200k monthly in tech. My 2025 goal was simple: earn in dollars and 10x my income. Late 2024, I broke into the dollar market, $400/month. Not the 10x I wanted, so I kept grinding. By April, I was at $600–$800/month. Still not 10x… more like 5x. I was grateful, but focused. I had a blueprint. I started dreaming bigger, landed property, a car, maybe even starting a building project as God leads. Then life hit. My mum was diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis. Within a week, she could barely walk. I emptied my savings, ₦2M+ gone, diagnosis, tests, treatment. At the same time, I was still showing up online. Still scaling my freelancing. In June, everything changed. I did 10x. $1,000–$1,500/month. God, nothing else. Then the doctor said surgery was needed. 70% success rate. Over ₦1M for surgery, plus equipment, admission, X-rays (10 of them each cost N20k), MRI, and weekly drugs—₦62k every single week. Bills didn’t stop. Life didn’t pause. But I didn’t stop either. Today, my mum walks perfectly, no support. While timelines were filled in December with achievements, lands, cars, and new apartments, I felt behind… until I remembered something important: I’m a survivor. My mum is alive because of the money I made last year. All glory to God. This year is my year. It’ll be fast. And it’ll be in your face 😉😊 Happy New Year 🎉
