Subject Urgent Executive Escalation Unresolved Complaint and Service Failure Flight 3067 Dear Executive Leadership Team at Southwest Airlines @SouthwestAir My name is Derrick B and I am formally escalating a matter that reflects a serious breakdown in both in flight experience and post flight customer service I am an A List Preferred member and have been a loyal customer of Southwest Airlines for over 15 years However my recent experience on Flight 3067 from Los Angeles LAX to Chicago Midway MDW has fallen far below acceptable standards and remains unresolved after more than three weeks I paid for a seat with extra legroom Seat 2A expecting a level of comfort consistent with that purchase Upon boarding I discovered that the passenger seated next to me had an extremely large Rottweiler dog occupying the aisle space despite only purchasing a single seat Additionally another passenger was assigned to sit in the middle seat between us The presence and size of the dog eliminated the legroom I paid for entirely and created a situation that was not only uncomfortable but unsafe for me personally I have a documented allergy to dogs and a history of being attacked by a Rottweiler as a child This made the situation extremely distressing I notified the flight crew immediately and requested to be moved but was told the flight was fully booked I then requested that the dog at minimum be repositioned to face away from me to reduce my anxiety and that request was also denied I was forced to endure over four hours of fear anxiety and physical discomfort Upon landing I was physically stiff and in pain due to being confined in such an environment Equally concerning is the mishandling of this issue following the flight This matter has now been pending for over three weeks During my initial contact I spoke with a representative named Deanna who offered a 200 voucher I requested escalation to a manager and was told I would receive a follow up which never occurred After waiting more than two weeks I reached out again and spoke with another representative named Jhericca At that point not only had no progress been made but the previously offered 200 voucher was reduced to 100 and the interaction was dismissive and lacked professionalism This sequence of events demonstrates a clear failure in customer care accountability and consistency As a long standing loyal customer I find it unacceptable that I did not receive the seating experience I paid for My health and safety concerns were not appropriately addressed No reasonable accommodation was provided during the flight My complaint has been mishandled delayed and downgraded without justification I am requesting immediate executive review and resolution including A full refund or substantial compensation that reflects the severity of this experience A formal explanation of how this situation was permitted A review and correction of the customer service failures that followed If this matter cannot be resolved promptly I will have no choice but to reevaluate my loyalty to Southwest Airlines and consider sharing this experience through appropriate consumer and public channels I trust that your executive team will recognize the seriousness of this matter and respond accordingly I look forward to your prompt response Sincerely Derrick B A List Preferred Member Flight 3067
