It’s been brought to my attention by many that lately old clips of That Metal Show have been making the rounds on social media. To that I say GREAT! And thank you to the fans for keeping it alive. None of us have any ownership of the show. But keeping it out there keeps hope that maybe somehow it comes back one day. The support for this show still 10 years after it ended blows me away. I just saw it in Brazil this weekend. Thank you all. Who knows what the future holds.

@MayorKrauss Ok wow one game where it didn’t work. Every coaches bodies of work has mistakes on their resume. Secondary break multiple changing defenses. Point to the passer ext. Coach Smith changed the game in many ways

@uncwally11 Sure. That game vs Duke? When the first half ended 7-0 Duke? u*NC was a real offensive powerhouse, scoring absolutely no points in the first half. Not just fake classes, but fake basketball too.

I came up in coaching a huge @UNC_Basketball Dean Smith fan. To me, he’s the best coach in college basketball history for coaches to study. The coach who the closest to coaching like him is @VandyMBB Mark Byington. I don’t know him well & have no dog in the fight but, given the resources, I think he would win big. Saw him win a game once down 5 with 5 seconds to go, Dean Smith style.

@ryancassidycbb Nothing about coaches behavior? Maybe referees should enforce coaching box. Standing on court during play. Screaming verbal abuse non stop. I coached D3 and had plenty of complaints but it’s a two way street

Yesterday a referee chased down Shaheen Holloway and screamed in his face Today a referee T'd up Dan Hurley for stomping There really does need to be a serious conversation at some point about the refereeing in the Big East. Egregious.
