The dealer ‘Motorcars of Chicago’ is black listed as a do not buy from dealer in just about every car group I’m in

@Jamesyomogoda Oh wow, what a nightmare… I can’t believe how many horror stories there are from the place.

@unczach22 Then I found out the battery was toast once I drove it for 2 hours on the highway (150+miles) and it struggled to start after a brief restroom break. That was not disclosed at all, and you can be sure they said the car was sold as-is.

I bought a car from there, I did a generic PPI. Car was good enough, but they had undisclosed mods. The car had catless downpipes, and was previously tuned. I had to spend some money to get it road worthy. Other than that ok.

@unczach22 I may or may not have bought a car from them. Probably the most awkward buying experience ever. Car had so many mysteries to it. Spent a substantial amount of time fixing it myself. They are wholesalers, with no clue about the cars, how to fix anything, let alone detail anything
