My Hermes agent has a daily BTC treasury watchdog cron that runs every morning. It checks: • BTC cycle heat, 30 peak signals • MSTR + MPJPY mNAV • MSTR/IBIT real-time compression proxy • Power-law trend/support • Leledc capitulation/top signals • Treasury cohort relative value Today’s output: ACTION: Tier 4 AMPED, allocate new contribution 90% MSTR / 10% MPJPY if cash is available. Existing positions: HOLD. No trim. BTC cycle: • CoinGlass peak checklist: 0/30 hits • Average peak progress: 39% • MVRV Z: 0.88, bottom zone • Puell: 0.78, bottom zone • Reserve Risk: 0.0015, bottom zone • NUPL: 32.6%, neutral • RHODL: 1042, neutral Treasury compression: • MSTR mNAV: about 1.05x • MPJPY mNAV: below 1.0x • MSTR/IBIT proxy: compression bottom • BTC vs power-law trend: cheap Signal stack: • @hillery_dan compression filter: GREEN • Leledc: major GREEN_ACTIVE, minor RED_ACTIVE • Cycle classification: BOTTOMING Interpretation: BTC is not overheated. Treasury names are compressed. MSTR remains core. MPJPY is buyable only as a satellite because structure risk is higher. Not financial advice. Just a rules-based discipline engine so I don’t make emotional allocation decisions.

@dj5law @chris_kratovil Hmm yes great point, a guy who can afford a summer house (and thus can most likely choose to live in any city in the world he wants) voluntarily chooses to live in Dallas. Interesting. Where is your summer house? Surely somewhere amazing

@chris_kratovil I only know one person, a high school classmate, who lives in Dallas (~30 yrs) and his summer house is near our hometown on Lake Erie. So, even that dude maximizes his time not spent in Dallas. Dallas is just a place to make money. It's a dump otherwise. Just accept it.

The “Dallas discourse” on X these last few days has been fascinating. The vocal “I hate Dallas” brigade appears to consist of three highly disparate groups: (1) Coastal elites who look down on any American city that’s not NY/LA/SF/DC; (2) Rust Belters jealous of the economic opportunity that DFW affords, especially compared to their stagnant hometowns; and (3) fellow Texans passionately jousting in traditional local rivalries (e.g., “Life is too short to live in Dallas” some guy from Fort Worth is contractually obligated to say) seemingly unaware that when non-Texans refer to “Dallas” they are talking about Greater Dallas/the DFW Metroplex (yes, even your beloved Tarrant County), not the oft-misgoverned City of Dallas proper. It’s an unholy alliance of critics united only by their manifest disdain for the prosperous suburban lifestyle that works so well for so many “Dallas” (DFW) families.
Christopher Kratovil@chris_kratovil

“Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.” The Dallas metro area is on a trajectory to pass greater Chicago as the nation’s 3rd largest population center, yet recent days have produced dozens of posts ranting about DFW’s purported awfulness. Well, massive growth, major corporate relocations, and broad regional prosperity outweigh your anecdotes and idiosyncratic preferences. Don’t like Dallas? Good, stay home; it’s getting too crowded here.

@Thzer0r Step 1 is to genuinely enjoy negotiating. If you don’t like it, you’re already in big trouble before it starts

@Molson_Hart Dallas, Houston, and Austin are all nightmare hellscapes for trying to raise a family inside city limits these days. Violent and scary. Best places to live near them keep getting further north for all three. Weird coincidence

Let me explain Dallas(s) 1. The summers are unbearable and this cannot be understood without moving there. You can't just visit Texas for 3 weeks in peak summer and understand it, because that's not why it's bad. It's bad because it's late October and it's 90+ and you're questioning your sanity as to whether not it will ever end. 2. Dallas' culture, superficially seems good, but once you dig down... 3. Dallas living is about the airport. You save money in Dallas and then fly out all the time because being in Dallas is rough. Airline travel in the US has declined a lot, so this way of life works less well. 4. The driving. It's dangerous. You need a tank and you're going to be sitting in it all the time. Dallas sort of seems like a city but it's not really. It's more like an area. 5. You can trade 3% state income tax for better weather, more trees, and fewer problems. I think Dallas is a solid place to live in a bigger house with A/C and grind for money aggressively for a short period of time and then move out of. Other than that, unless you are tied down there (job, family), I can't recommend it.
Amy Nixon@texasrunnerDFW

I am astounded by the number of millennial families who moved to Dallas, bought a home, then turned around and sold the home to move out of Dallas, in less than a 5 year time span Is Dallas just super transient or is this a post-pandemic phenomenon happening everywhere?

Ferrari has released a new video of the interior for its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce. It was designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive, who recently said "a large touchscreen doesn't work in a car." Car info: • Four-door four-seater • 122 kWh battery • 330 miles of range (European rating methods) • 1,000 horsepower • 0-60mph: Under 2.5s • Four electric motors • OLED screens • Guess cluster screen is made up of several layers. By cutting out holes in the upper layers, Ferrari created displays where the speedometer graphic is below the level of a physical needle, which is itself behind additional drive info and beneath a curved inset lens. • Will have fake gear shifts • Weight: 5,100 lbs
