Tonight it’s USA vs Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic championship, and Americans will be cheering for their favorite Venezuelan players. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is pushing the Supreme Court to remove Venezuelans and Haitians from this country. You can’t celebrate them on the field and reject them in real life. — Luther Campbell for Congress

How r Coach Daves disciples doing? Wildly quicker is a new term for me. Folks not all hitters in the HOF had the same swings. Many components were much different than Coach D’s beliefs. How were there any good hitters before Coach D’s secret sauce? Another🤡he needs to join the🎪
Fryedaddy/Frito@shegone03

Coach Dave has declared that there is one best way to swing and that every Hall of Famer did it! Coach Dave has his own version of HLP that he calls Hit Like a Pro. Transfer of blame is a sign of immaturity. It’s no one else’s fault. The official, a teammate, the coach, the weather. Suck it up, hold yourself accountable, make adjustments and work harder. Focus on what you can control. Preparation, attitude, effort, gratefulness, energy, focus.

Each pitcher has a tell and this was one thing told to me by a HOF that I passed on here as I do with most info. Guru? 🤣 God no - those are your guys who barely played in college or Indy ball... and in some cases never caught at all... most guys who played professionally simply pass on info, not self promote or push their camps

@under2catching Yet You’re still gonna be more successful having a cadence to the pitcher. “He holds the ball for X amount” Right? You’re a catching guru. You should know that 95% of successful steals the pitcher not changing tempo

I think we are getting to a tipping point where Metrics, Showcases, and PBR/PG events are ruining athletes. I have seen more injuries coming out of these events. Kids are being ranked on 2 or 3 throws, pitches, and hits. Getting injured trying to beat the next metric. Metrics over actual in game play is a huge problem. Keep feeding the Showcases, athletes getting injured, and in game play becoming less and less important. Don't have to look much further then how they rank the top state athletes. Showcase > Games

@under2catching This has zero advantage in stealing a base. Is it true the toe lifts on a pick? Yes. But kinesiology tells me that toe isn’t lifting until his front knee is pushing CofG towards 1st.

The harder you try in games... the worse you hit. That's not a talent problem. That's a trust problem. Your swing probably works. Stop judging every little thing mid-at-bat and just play. -> You can train this. And no, you won’t be able to achieve this 100% of the time. We are human. But, we can significantly improve it. -> When training, and you feel yourself criticizing yourself way too much, getting stiff and forcing everything, step out. Walk away. Reset. Nothing good is gonna come from you forcing. Reset. Change your thought process. Reset your goal and let yourself play the game. Let it happen. Let it flow. Trust your work. Making adjustments mid round / at bat and criticizing yourself is DIFFERENT. Adjusting is productive. Criticizing is not. Big difference. Elite hitters can adjust without hammering themselves. Can you get better at this? Bet you can. Go try. *Make sure you’re following for more on ‘turning BP hitters into game hitters’*

@thadbrown7 @PatrickMoranTB So Bosa must have been taught by Groot when he got there in that the only move allowed is a bull rush.... because that all i saw all last year

@PatrickMoranTB Bosa is a better pass rusher. But that downgrade is not as big as the run game upgrade.

My conclusion with Bradley Chubb is he's basically Bosa but a more stout and reliable run defender. And that's OK. Throwing out a lot of "ifs" here with guys like Chubb and Hoecht being and staying healthy, but I think Bosa getting cooked on too many run plays and not getting home at the QB late in the season were gigantic problems. I don't think Chubb is any kind of savior but again, predicated on staying healthy, I think he'll be more consistently reliable in all areas of defense than Bosa was. Bosa was literally hit or miss, and almost all the hits were before December rolled around
