Seven teams from WPIAL-City League will go to Hershey for state basketball championships. Four girls and three boys (one from the City League). The 7 teams tie for 2nd-most from area since PIAA started 6 classes in 2017. In 2022, WPIAL sent 9 teams to Hershey.
