@Jainadave_ Hope so. I'm pushing hard in the gym, but I have high insulin resistance. Not sure muscle alone will help, but I'm at least decreasing my (refined) sugar intake quite substantially.

Gaining ~1 kg of muscle can improve whole-body insulin sensitivity by ~10–15%. Muscle is the organ of longevity. Train accordingly.

Nature is so great for unwinding. For me, looking around through the forest trying to see any type of wildlife. Noticing the smells of the forest, or the sounds. The reason this is so positively beneficial to me is that it seems to move the focus from my negative situations in life that I spend so much time stressing over. My biggest downfall (weakness) in life is my habit of stressing and worrying, and focusing on these only amplifies it like a magnifying glass would. Nature does give me a break, when I choose to go into it.

Well, made it into the gym this afternoon after having a bit of a rough week with some digestion issues that affected my workouts. Was able to push hard without fear of running to the washroom, lol. Anyways, I even forced myself to do some pull-ups, even tho it feels like the whole gym starts watching when someone hits the pull-up bar. I managed to get 3 half decent pull-ups from full dead-hang. The 4th was only about 70% up, but rode the negative down real slow. Then I just hung there in a dead-hang until my grip let go. I'm always envious when I see other guys out there doing 10-20 clean pull-ups, but the one thing I've learned; the only way to do 10 or 20 clean pull-ups is to start where you are and keep trying. Consistency seems to win in virtually all situations in life!

Well, did 30 full days of Carnivore, with zero sugar and carbs. Half of the time was great with tons of energy and the other half had me pretty much either bed-ridden with keto-flu, or stuck in the bathroom with runs. Made a choice to go back to carbs for now. Did eat some simple sugars, but that left my stomach hurting for an entire day. Did 36-hr rolling fasts (alternate day fasting) for this past week, but combined with lower quality foods, didn't lose much. Lost 1lb and 0.25" from my waist. This next week, complex carbs and as close to single ingredient foods. I might throw in a 36-hr fast, but also might just do OMAD around noon or early afternoon, and ride in a deficit. Who knows? Looking forward to going to the gym pretty soon. Feeling good, finally. Will update next week. This week's YT video will post tomorrow! Have a great one out there!!

Judging someone’s fitness based on their bench press is disrespectful. Strength has standards, but it’s not the full picture. Not everyone hitting the gym is built the same, trained the same, or even training for strength. Stop reducing fitness to one lift. Isn’t intermediate strength for men around 1.25x bodyweight anyway?

I will typically eat a large nutritious breakfast at 6am before work. This carries me through my workday. I don't eat after 6pm. So, if work is too busy, and I don't make it home before my eating window closes, I just eat the following morning. I have stopped snacking throughout the day.

Have to get them when you can. Lately, here in Canada, I've seen 2-packs of rib steak as high as $83/pack ($60 usd/pack). They're usually around $65-$75/pack ($47-55 usd/pack). I've been fortunate enough to load up a bit when it was on sale for $35/pack ($25 usd/pack), but this only happens at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. So, for most of the year, ground beef it is 😩
