> A woman CEO, Maya Milusheva, visited a university.
> A feminist girl asked - Why don’t you hire only women?
> She replied - I tried hiring women, but
- Girls are quite lazy.
- They are not good programmers.
- Most of them cheat.
- They don’t work hard.
- Boys work late to fix problems, girls don’t.
- She said she doesn’t want the company to suffer because of diversity hiring.
Feminist girls had no answer to that.
In reality, it’s true in every single field. Men are simply better.
Remove diversity hiring and women’s quotas. Let men and women compete on a level field and see who wins.

In an age when the world’s tallest mountains were still nameless on maps, one man from a tiny Himalayan village dared to walk into the unknown. His name was Pandit Nain Singh Rawat, a son of the soil from Bhatkura in Uttarakhand, born on 21 October 1830. What makes his journey legendary is that he accomplished, on foot and without instruments, what even today’s explorers would call impossible — he mapped Tibet in the 19th century. 🌏🧭
At a time when geography was dominated by imperial missions and modern equipment didn’t exist, Nain Singh carried no compasses, no GPS, not even a map. What he did carry was intelligence, creativity, and courage. The British, searching for trained locals who could blend in to secretly map Tibet, found in him a perfect ally — calm, disciplined, and determined. For Nain Singh, it wasn’t just a job; it was a calling.
To measure distance, he replaced science with ingenuity. He turned his rosary (mala) into a scientific tool. Instead of the usual 108 beads, his had 100, every tenth bead slightly larger. Each time he walked 100 steps, he shifted one bead forward. When he completed all 100 beads, he knew he had walked 10,000 steps — about five miles. To keep his steps even, he tied a rope between his ankles so that every stride measured 31.5 inches.
Day after day, he marched across icy Tibetan plateaus, wind-blown valleys, and dangerous passes, recording every turn of the terrain. Over his lifetime, he walked an astonishing 3.16 million steps, covering more than 42,000 kilometres through six major expeditions. He crossed deserts and snow, watched the sun’s position to calculate distance, and even learned to hide his notes inside his walking stick to protect them from suspicion. 🏔️
Using nothing but the stars, Nain Singh determined the latitude and longitude of Lhasa, Tibet’s capital — results that modern satellite data later confirmed to be accurate. 🌌📍 His sharp eye and disciplined methods also helped prove that the Tsangpo River in Tibet and India’s Brahmaputra were one and the same. He traced the origins of the Sutlej and Indus Rivers, literally walking the veins of Asia’s lifeline. 🌊
For his unmatched work, the British Royal Geographical Society awarded him its highest honour — the Patron’s Gold Medal, making him the only Indian ever to receive it. The Survey of India recognised his brilliance, and explorers across the world admired his courage. Yet, in his heart, he remained the humble man from the hills who once worked as a porter.
Behind his greatness stood a silent story of love. For sixteen years, Nain Singh never returned home. His village believed he was gone forever, but his wife refused to give up hope. Every year, she spun wool and stitched a coat and pajama, waiting for him to come back. When he finally returned after 16 long years, she presented him with 16 pairs — one for every year of waiting. ❤️
Nain Singh Rawat’s legacy is not just written in maps; it’s written in perseverance. He proved that genius doesn’t need privilege or technology — only vision, patience, and willpower. Every bead he slid, every step he measured, was a contribution to science and to India’s place in global exploration.
Today, as satellites orbit the Earth and drones map every corner of the planet, Nain Singh’s story reminds us of a time when one man’s footsteps alone could redraw the boundaries of knowledge. He walked not for fame but for discovery. His journey shows that true greatness lies not in wealth or applause, but in purpose. 🇮🇳
He remains India’s first true explorer — a man who measured the world, one prayer bead at a time. 🙏
