For many of those who spend most of their time on the Internet and watching podcasts, they believe the entire world is defined by how many followers or viewers or ratios or whatever are here.  They act like there are no other forms of communication or media platforms.  And that is their perspective -- myopic.  That is how they measure audiences, influence, or what have you.   And, of course, podcasters want you to think the same thing.   But the world out there is big.  Bigger than just here.  Sorry to break the news.
