This is one of the many problems with Meltzer… He says things without reviewing any context they have to fill two nights in a stadium and ticket sales are way behind… So the priority is to load up that show not blow matches at this event. He is just trying to be provocative as usual.

Given they’re running MSG, Dave is probably right, here. When this show was announced the expectation was huge. But there are absolutely zero marquee bouts on the show. Bayley and Lyra will likely have a banger. The tag main will probably be good. But none of it feels important

I'll give Vince McMahon his flowers on this one. He booked The Shield to absolute perfection. From deciding to replace Kassius Ohno with Roman Reigns, to pulling the trigger on the betrayal when nobody expected it, this was one of the things he absolutely did right. 12 years later, WWE is still reaping the benefits of the Shield lore.

Is it just me, or has Austin Theory started to feel like the centerpiece of The Vision lately? Bron Breakker is the muscle. Logan Paul is the mouthpiece since the injury. Now it looks like Maxxine is becoming the brains of the group. With Theory and Maxxine now an on-screen couple, Theory suddenly feels like the focal point of the faction. Pairing him with Maxxine has already given him more personality, which is something he's been missing. I'm really interested to see how he evolves from here. If this pairing clicks the way Dom's did with Rhea Ripley, it could be exactly what Theory needed.
