@upRootNutrition @proserpinah yes but nick, its not actually the case!! humans arent being hunted by xenos silly.
stop thinking about things
English

"We shouldn't intervene on the natural holocaust cuz ecological collapse tho!"
Let's just assume that this consideration is legitimately countervailing. Fuck ecosystems, then. We should be working on technological replacements for ecosystems so that the natural holocaust ends.
scummy little emo boy@proserpinah
@upRootNutrition @JoeSmit73584760 @peta @billieeilish Removing animals from the ecosystem would collapse the ecosystem and starving animals, like lions, is animal cruelty. All animals have a right to exist in nature, no matter how much we do or don’t like them.
English

@proserpinah @upRootNutrition imagine saying this in a situation where humans were being preyed on
"yes, we should continue to let the xenomorphs hunt and kill us. they gotta eat 🤷♂️"
English

@proserpinah If I had any hope at all that you were going to engage in good faith, I would debate you on that, and you would get absolutely annihilated and look like a fucking psychopath for holding a view like that. It's actually a psychotic view.
English

@upRootNutrition A lion eating is not a “holocaust”. Lions need to eat. You cannot destroy the ecosystem because a lion eating makes you sad.

Don't miss our new billboard in Times Square. Because @billieeilish is 100% right. You can't love animals and eat meat.

@JoeSmit73584760 @proserpinah @peta @billieeilish Yes, ideally we just veganize the carnivores. But if ever there was an animal that couldn't exist without ripping other sentient animals to shreds, I don't think it has any business existing. I would favour extermination in those cases. Not that I think such cases are real tho.
English

@proserpinah @upRootNutrition @peta @billieeilish I would imagine @upRootNutrition ‘s plan would involve lab made meat of some type to solve this?
English

@GiladKingsley @peta @billieeilish Gradual displacement of natural ecosystems with human infrastructure and systematic rescue of displaced animals.

@StGodsMemorial @AviBittMD Right, that must be why I source my GLP-1s from outside of pharma. Also, semaglutide is going to be generic where I live within the next couple months. What an utterly fucking retarded thing to say.
English

@upRootNutrition @AviBittMD Big pharma has their hooks in you.
English

@upRootNutrition Optimum health is not a technological innovation pal. It's an evolutionary phenomenon.

People who lose weight on Ozempic are viewed worse than people who don't lose weight at all: study trib.al/5JhdcWm
English

@LynnA39927613 @TheHyland3r That might be true for liraglutide, maybe. But semaglutide takes around 3 days to reach its peak.
English

@upRootNutrition @TheHyland3r +1 People respond differently but if you don't normally have a weight problem there's a good chance a teeny tiny dose will kill all your food noise, possibly in just a few hours after the first dose.
English

@DrNadolsky When retatrutide gets FDA approval, what would be the clinical advantage to semaglutide?
English

@phil948 @ChrisVMDHealth @grok The experimental data would seem to disagree with that. Physical activity would seem to be a very poor moderator of body weight. It has an affect; just not a strong one compared to dietary modification. If Europe is better off it probably has to do with the food culture.
English

@upRootNutrition @ChrisVMDHealth @grok Europe in general has significantly lower levels of obesity and significantly higher levels of physical activity, mainly due to use of public transport over cars.
there’s an argument to be made both ways, but imo activity level is the more significant factor
