You become a good developer by understanding what it's like to be a user. You become a good founder by understanding what it's like to be a customer. You do not start out building products people want. You ship something broken and learn from the people who use it.

Ecom owners, take this (free) and keep it forever. I just bundled together some of the most valuable CRO, A/B testing, and ecom resources we’ve ever shared. Built from 4,000+ experiments, €500M+ in attributed revenue impact, and years of breaking down what actually works across top DTC brands. No theory. No recycled advice. Just frameworks, breakdowns, tests, and systems that drive revenue. I genuinely think there’s at least one resource in here worth six figures to the right business. Here’s what’s inside: Funnel Breakdowns & Brand Analysis: ↳ Nike x Skims x Salomon Funnel Breakdown ↳ Booking.com Funnel Breakdown ↳ Momentous Funnel Breakdown ↳ Lacoste & Tommy Hilfiger Funnel Breakdown ↳ Salomon, Hoka, Nike & Adidas Funnel Breakdowns ↳ Peloton vs Oura Funnel Breakdown ↳ July Luggage Funnel Breakdown CRO, Testing & Revenue Psychology: ↳ The Psychology of Pricing ↳ 50+ AOV & Cart Abandonment Test Ideas ↳ 45 Tests (€7.8M+ in A/B test Wins) ↳ 12+ Top Winner Tests from Snocks ↳ 9 Cart Tests That Generated €2,260,654+ in Revenue ↳ “How We Run 50+ Tests Per Month” ↳ 5 E-commerce CRO Case Studies ↳ A/B Test Calculator by Drip AI, Systems & Workflow Resources: ↳ Claude vs Cursor vs n8n ↳ Claude Projects Setup for Ecom Teams ↳ Analytics & CRO Tools Bundle by Drip Bundles & Playbooks: ↳ Ecom Essentials Bundle This isn’t just “free content.” It’s the exact thinking behind brands scaling faster without increasing ad spend. The work of building something real will always be underestimated by people who have never shipped anything. But you cannot expect them to get it, because most people have never actually sat down and tried to make something from nothing.

Does anybody have a good terminal for AI agents. I really like cmux but it crashes every day and I lose all my context across multiple projects. I do not want to have to reopen every single thing each time. Warp is nice but it's kind of buggy compared to cmux, and it doesn't have "windows" like cmux does. Any suggestions?

@joncphillips Finally!!! This is such a great article because I was just about to start working on the new feedbackcat version which has this exact problem.

@leodev Yeah ... it's definitely possible to push something in a weekend, but you did get my point -- it's that subset of vibe coders who can't build something but then feel like their own effort means EVERYTHING can be built in a weekend. Not everything can be built in a weekend.

@AtSynct I believe a app can totally shipped in a weekend but it heavily depends on what the app is, and how hard it is to make it. But most vibe coders can't really make quality websites or apps.

@leodev Not only that, but now we've got a completely different set of people who vibe-coded a barely functional, super simple, useless app in a weekend and now believe that any app should be shipped in a weekend. And that's ... just not true.

@leodev @stripe Yeah it would definitely save time (similar deal with taxes in Mexico and Canada too) I might actually switch.

It's becoming clear that every product out there needs an MCP server and a solid API, and probably also an AI agent. I didn't even login to @stripe to create the products, Claude Code just created them for me in my account (3 products, monthly and annual prices). I didn't even leave the terminal. It was wonderful.

You really should switch. They've got a really really good developer experience, like you can add payments in 6 lines of code. Also I'm not sure how it is in Mexico but in US you have to file for taxes etc and a MOR saves so much time. It's honestly way worth it because they also help against chargebacks + so many other things.

@leodev @stripe That is a good question. Mostly because my other SaaS are on Stripe, but I'm not opposed to switching to Polar at some point tbh I do love the MOR setup.

@leodev What makes a good developer is a fundamental understanding of the system they are working on, and the ability to properly create designs and tests for the software before they even write any code.

Someone asked me what makes a good developer at any age. My answer: stop worrying about the stack everyone says you need. And this is coming from someone who loves to argue about tech stacks Just go build things. Just use what you are comfortable with

Building is like a feedback loop, wide and never-ending. The more users you talk to, the more gaps you realize exist. Yet if you only build what you assume they want, tools like @feedbackcatapp exist for a reason.
