I LOVE the Bendis era, but Hickman did much better with that aspect of Tony than Bendis ever did.

@ArkS0l0 @dr3amcatcher93 Still a mischaracterization tho. It's built entirely on the preceding event (Civil War) which was pretty much one big character assassination. It's like if writers kept building on the CW2 version of Carol for the next few years instead of just ignoring it.

@ArkS0l0 @dr3amcatcher93 Every now and then I still find people who hate Iron Man for this era. At least people recognize Carol in CW2 as a mischaracterization, but Millar legitimately botched Tony in CW1 so bad it's insane 😭.

@k_seguun13 @ThisguyHassan Ehh, Iron Man definitely has at minimum 10 good to great runs leading up to the soft reboot in 2015. Goodwin, Mantlo, 2 Michelinie/Layton runs, O'Neil, Kaminski, Busiek, Grell, Knaufs, and Fraction. It's still pathetic numbers imo but definitely not as bad as Wolverine.
