I kept switching tabs to Google or ChatGPT for terminal commands I couldn't remember. So I built a tiny CLI that turns natural language into commands you can review and edit before running.

Building @urithihq has led me down some interesting rabbit holes. One thing I didn't expect: churches and Bible societies have done a huge amount of work translating African languages. I recently came across one that's even building AI models and datasets for African languages.

A “Duolingo for Africa” project I’ve been working on. Inspired by the local language models @gatere_mark has been building, I started exploring what language learning could look like with AI trained on African languages. Feels like a compelling use case for local AI models 🤔
