another thing is artists have to be willing to lose money for their hobby... price doujins low and do it for love of the game. tbh imo NA fanartists are mega-spoiled in this regard. they're one of the only types of fandom creators that get huge bucks from selling fanwork.

Butches will claim Butchfemme is all about deconstructing gender roles and then label things like receiving flowers as feminine If you REALLY cared about deconstruction, you wouldn’t label these minor things as fem or masc because these labels come from patriarchal standards
