Affiliate commissions should not be one size fits all. Rewarding affiliates only after a paid conversion works for some products. But for many SaaS companies, the important steps happen earlier. A qualified lead. A demo request. A trial start. That’s why I’ve been adding more flexible reward models to Affonso. First Pay Per Lead. Now Pay Per Trial. With Pay Per Trial, brands can reward affiliates the moment a referred user starts a trial. It gives SaaS companies more room to build their affiliate program around their actual funnel. Especially when the sales cycle is longer, that flexibility can make a big difference. Affiliates get rewarded earlier. Brands get more product signups. The program becomes easier to activate.

I don’t want Affonso to be just affiliate tracking software. My goal is to build a marketplace where SaaS companies can find active affiliates, and affiliates can find good products to promote. That’s what I’m focused on right now. More active affiliates means more revenue potential for every program on the platform. Distribution is the real unlock.
