So excited to bring this to React developers! Thanks to the great work by @alexmuramoto @usefulthink and @ubilabs for bringing this much-needed library to life. Watch to the end of the YouTube link for some fun with @Mpegg's video shoot 😆

@Evren_KAYALI Given that a lot of people are asking about it, I will probably put that into an example when I find the time..

@cramforce @dave_reis Visual age! That was my very first IDE and I completely forgot the name. I remember being completely blown away by the code navigation abilities back then. Some of the good parts never reappeared in modern tools...

@antoniolocandro The keyword you need to search for is AIS or NMEA AIS, which is the pendant to ADSB in aerial traffic. There is aishub.net, but you need to share your own data-feed to be able to receive the feeds of others.

Anyone knows if there is an online tracking for vessels/ships like for airplanes and if the dataset can be downloaded to be viewed in a GIS? #gischat

@kosamari isn't the whole 'unidirectional data flow', redux etc. basically MVC with a new name?

Do you all remember the "React is the V in MVC" pitch.

If someone started on web development (UI part) past 2-3 years, do they even know what MVC is...?

@rauschma You can use `R/.git/info/exclude` as an "additional .gitignore file". I always use that to avoid having environment-specific / private stuff in .gitignore

Scenario: – P: Public git repository – R: Private version of P where only a few files differ (version control probably not needed) I’d like to commit changed public files in R. Current tentative idea: R = clone of P, with private files and .gitignore added to .gitignore.

In HH kommen ständig neue dazu.

@rauschma Buying parallels and a windows license seems cheaper than the other options. Depends of course on what you want to do with it..

Recommendations for running Windows as cheaply as possible for M1 Mac owners? I’m considering: – Cloud PCs (alas, Windows licenses increase prices considerably) – MS Surface Laptop Go 2 (8 GB RAM) – Other Windows laptops

@usefulthink There's a decent summary of Mozilla's position as of two years ago at #issuecomment-644962468" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/mozilla/standa… ... it mostly boils down to being opposed to non-semantic hardware access APIs due to the inherent and non-obvious security risks which make it impossible to obtain informed consent.
