One of the biggest culture shocks I got when I arrived Canada 🇨🇦 2023 happened on my very first day at school 😭 I entered my class, about 30 students in total.
 29 were Indians. I was the only black guy there, and not one Canadian-born student 😅 For a second I had to check if my flight mistakenly landed in Punjab 🇮🇳 From the bus, to Walmart, to people walking on the street, all I kept hearing was Punjabi everywhere. It was an outdoor movie party and I was in tears when I went to pick up my daughter 10pm.... 10pm and the kids are running around outside, laughing, playing. Not a care in the world... no boundaries, no fences, no worries. Kids running around screaming "USA, USA" This is what patriotism feels like. This is what it feels like to be PROUD of your country I started sobbing as I never knew that this was the norm here. I never knew what safety felt like.
