Most developers seem to get srcset right, but too many get sizes wrong. Learn more about these trends and much more in the Media chapter of the Web Almanac, co-authored by our very own @etportis! cloudinary.buzz/xVVR50IBvGV

Additional JS, CSS and lazyloading was only executed on some specific events (scroll + touchstart). But not (line 237) when navigator.platform was equal to "Linux x86_64". So did a iOS @usingwpt test and all other resources popped in too, now to a total of 95 resources 🧐

@matthewcp @passle_ What WPT best practices do you disagree with? They tend to flag only the most inexcusable performance antipatterns like disabling TCP Keep-Alive, not using gzip, not caching, etc. Hard to argue with those. Can you give an example of a data-based score you'd prefer instead?

@passle_ I ignore lighthouse best practices because I disagree with many of them. Ditto for webpagetest. Wish the scores were derived from data and not opinions :/

In the context of reloading the page when a new service worker has taken over. We use the following code to reload on controllerchange. But this will freak out lighthouse's best practices, because of the reload apparently. How are other people dealing with reloading on update?
