My boss is getting orthodontic surgery on her 7 year old because they say her incisors "won't fall out" on their own so they're pulling SIX baby teeth, four on top and two on bottom... I simply cannot believe that's necessary or even beneficial

@junemarie Ok fair I'm biased because I never even had braces and my impacted wisdom teeth are still in my head, sitting still, knock on wood.

@usuallygassy u usually remove any retained puppy teeth when spaying/neutering a young dog bc it can negatively affect the adult teeth growing in, adult tooth could become impacted or come out sideways or erupt alongside the retained baby tooth potentially impossible to floss/brush adequately
