"It is a myth, a widely believed one, that the growth of science in our times is because millions and millions have been spent on big machines. What really makes science grow are new ideas." ~ Sir Karl Popper

@elonmusk @WR4NYGov Fundamental discoveries don’t depend on new scientific instruments. @ConjectureInst

We’ve had schools from rural Missouri, rural Cambodia, rural India, Guatemala reach out to us out of nowhere recently and will be working with all of them starting in Fall to get their students a 5/5 on AP Physics. Many don’t have physics teachers at all!

One can’t travel back in time (at least yet), but the next best thing: Read historical fiction. And I have to say, from gang-wars inside Cambridge University (1660s) and travelling on horses to AirBnBs and satellite 📡 television, we have come a very long way!

THIS IS PEAK WHATABOUTERY 🔥 REPORTER: Why should Norway trust India when fundamental rights are being violated? MEA: We have Gandhi, ancient civilisation, and a Constitution that guarantees fundamental rights. REPORTER 🎯: Exactly. I know India has fundamental rights. That is why I asked about violations. MEA: If rights are violated, people can go to court. 😐 REPORTER: That’s the point. Why are people forced to go to court for basic rights? MEA: It’s my press conference. I will decide. REPORTER: When will PM take free questions from the press? MEA: Next question.

@Bengalururain The easiest thing to do is to criticise and the hardest is to praise others. So dont go by others, follow your heart. Follow your passion.

I have no problem with trolls, but I expect fairness. When forecasts are right, trolls disappear. They only show up for small errors or to downplay forecasts that were well within uncertainty limits. You should only criticize if you also acknowledge the correct forecasts.

The school life exposes one to an ocean of silliness ... But nothing beats the silliness of making students passionately "debate" a position they didn’t even get to choose!
