The problem isn’t Barcelona, it’s United for agreeing to these kinds of deals. Literally the only big club that somehow lets others walk away even when there’s an obligation to buy, let alone just an option. It happened with Sancho, it’s looking likely with Rashford and it wouldn’t be a shock if Napoli find a way out of the Hojlund deal too. At some point, you have to look at United and the people negotiating these deals.

This isn’t true in my opinion. If we were in “ADVANCED” talks that means a deal is close to being done. Ornstein and Fabrizio would be all over this if it was the case.
