I just got confirmation that, sadly, this is indeed accurate 💔
One DB told me:
“Fans never got to see Hagen play at 100%, he had a hammy strain last season. When he was at 100% he was elite”
He will always be king of the tornado reverse
Look for freshman Terrance Saryon to pick up some of Hagens jet sweeps, kick returning and slot WR duties
Go Cougs!!

𝐍𝐄𝐖: BYU WR Cody Hagen is RETIRING from football and leaving the program. HUGE loss for the Cougars 😳

“The church is not a place where perfect people gather to say perfect things, or have perfect thoughts, or have perfect feelings. The Church is a place where imperfect people gather to provide encouragement, support, and service to each other as we press on in our journey to return to our Heavenly Father.”

@joewheat27 And 2 of the top 15 losses were by double digits, one of which at home but sure rewrite the history pal
English

@joewheat27 Haha the entire point is you framed your original argument as byu was some juggernaut when healthy (by purposely not including the record after 16-1 when still healthy) when in reality the wheels were starting to come off before the big injuries?
English

@joewheat27 I think you’re making my point for me? Lost to 4 top 25 teams in that 7 game span.. so byu was struggling even with healthy pieces around the best player in college basketball.
English

@joewheat27 BYU started slipping before the injuries. Went 2-5 with Ritchie healthy after the 16-1 start. But keep the narrative going Joe!
English

@TheBYUFlash Factually incorrect that this would be Utahs best season in a decade.
Utah made the round of 32 in 2016 as a #3 seed. But congrats on the moral victory buddy
English

@Aaron_Torres Tried to piggy back off aj as a reporter just for this 🤣🤣 embarrassing

Final from Portland:
BYU 71
Texas 79
Longhorns led for 39:07 of 40 minutes and advance to face the Gonzaga/Kennesaw State survivor.
BYU goes out as a 6 seed losing to an 11 seed for the third time in its last four NCAA tourney appearances.
3PFG
BYU 4/22, 18%
Texas 8/22, 36%
Dybantsa: 35 points, 10 rebounds
Vokietaitis: 23 points, 16 rebounds

@collinsworth55 @BYUGuy87 Taking a page out of BYU’s playbook from the independent era 😘😘
English

@utester23 @rtmccombs And Utah’s NIL was just shy of BYU’s and Utah took last place. BYU also had five season-ending injuries.
What’s Utah’s excuse? How many season-ending injuries did Utah have?
English

@collinsworth55 @BYUGuy87 BYU really a first round exit with the #1 pick, top 10 NIL roster, and their most talented team of all time 😂😂😂😂😂 but yes let’s get you more help
English

@kdg30 @rtmccombs “Made the tournament but loss first round with the #1 pick and $15M roster”. Gonna hang nicely in the stadium for you guys
English

@utester23 @rtmccombs You mean the tournament you haven’t participated in in 10 years?
English

Utah spent 5 million dollars to fire Craig Smith, paid Alex Jensen 4 million dollars this season, and paid their roster an embarrassing amount of NIL to have the worst Big 12 season for any team in the last 5 years. And Terrence Brown, Keanu Dawes, & others are about to transfer.
MUSSEMERITUS@MUSSemeritus
10th place 😂😂😂
English

@BYUProvo Reminder this was BYU’s most talented team of all time and spent top 10 money in ncaam just to finish 10th in the big12 and won’t make the sweet 16. Hell of a season baby!
