Us Muslim tech bros hear you loud and clear. I left Google. I brought in a co-founder who built a $60M health startup. I pulled in a PhD engineer and a PhD Islamic finance scholar. And we cooked an app that gives you bigger returns than any savings account, and it happens to be zero-interest too. We can add a qibla compass to it too if you really want.

Why are Muslims still making marriage and prayer time apps in 2026? Unbelievable man

My heart is so full seeing so many Muslim builders launching Islamic products on X this Ramadan ♥️ There is so much talent in our Ummah right now, Ma Sha Allah! ✨ It's difficult to keep track of all the awesome projects, so I built a directory to curate everything in one place: deen.page If you're building in this space, please drop your project below and I'd love to add it to the directory

It’s incredible that went over this phenomenon in class today where we went over the Qur’anic verse, “He who determined their sustenance and guided them.” (Al-A’la, 3) Some scholars explain that this verse refers to how God guides a baby to latch to its mother’s breast at birth

My golden hour with my first baby was a mess. My midwife put him on my chest but never explained what was supposed to happen. I just laid there, clueless. I kept trying to latch him myself but was struggling. Then I got interrupted multiple times for weighing and measuring. My entire breastfeeding journey with my first was a disaster because I went in blind and learned everything the hard way. By my second, I had a swiss army knife of knowledge from all the research and mistakes. When my midwife placed that baby on my chest, I watched something I'll never forget. She started kicking her tiny legs against my stomach, rooting her head side to side, pushing herself up toward my breast. Within 10 minutes she latched on her own. She did not need my help or guidance. It was pure instinct. This is called the breast crawl. A newborn placed skin to skin on the mother's chest will use her legs and arms to push herself toward the breast. She can't even see properly yet. Her vision is blurry and she can a max distance of 12 inches. But she doesn't need to see... She smells the amniotic fluid on the nipple, which smells like the world she just came from. The areola also darkens during pregnancy so the baby can see the contrast even with blurry vision. Between scent, rooting reflex, and the stepping reflex in her legs, she crawls her way there. God designed this so perfectly it's hard to believe. Too many hospitals still interrupt this by weighing, measuring, and bathing the baby within minutes. Every one of those interruptions breaks the sequence. If you're pregnant, tell your birth team this: nothing happens in the first hour. Baby stays on my chest. Everything else can wait.

I'm giving 100% of my Zakat to one charity this Ramadan. The Zakat Impact Fund. And I think every Muslim who cares about the long-term future of our community should seriously consider doing the same: Let me explain why. Muslims in the UK donated over £2bn to charity last year. That's an extraordinary amount. But if you asked the average donor what measurable, structural change that money produced, most would struggle to answer. I think that's a problem. Last year, the Zakat Impact Fund deployed just £594,000. A fraction of a fraction. And with that, we: - Built the civic engagement needed to elect 5 independent MPs* - Legal victories for 400+ Islamophobia victims through the Islamophobia Response Unit - Economic empowerment programmes that lifted vulnerable Muslims towards self-sufficiency - Research that is now actively informing government policy through Equi Traditional charity gives a fish. We're buying the fishing rod, building the boat factory, and changing the fishing regulations. When you donate £1,000 to most charities, you might feed 100 people for a week. When you donate £1,000 to the Zakat Impact Fund, you're investing in civic infrastructure, strategic litigation, journalism, upskilling programmes, and grant applications that unlock far larger pots of funding. The fund is Zakat-eligible (approved by Sheikh Akram Nadwi) and Gift Aid eligible, for all UK taxpayers. The split is roughly 25% towards economic empowerment and poverty relief - training, upskilling, business support - and 75% towards high-impact strategic initiatives with leveraged returns. We partner with National Zakat Foundation, Funders In Good, The Muslim Vote, Equi and many others doing genuinely groundbreaking work. I think there are two types of Zakat you can give. The kind that makes you feel good for a night. And the kind that your grandchildren will thank you for. This fund is the latter. Your children, born and bred in the west, will benefit from the infrastructure this builds. Make dua for us and please do share this far and wide. Link to donate below. N.B. This is our charitable project - we take no fees from this, and we donate away all gift aid. *Donations were made to build political infrastructure and educate Muslims on civic engagement, not directly to political campaigns. Money came from the non-charitable donations made by donors.

@joebradford Ask Claude to build you an FAISS database based on your data repository, using semantic chunking (you can use that as your prompt). After that, ask it to make you a chatbot that can make tool calls to search the FAISS database in your answers. go with most cost-effective model.

BREAKING: we just defeated @LauraLoomer in court. Again. Here's what happened. Since 2023, Ms. Loomer has been sending monthly checks to CAIR as the result of a failed lawsuit she once filed against us and @CAIRFlorida (yes, you read that right: America's loudest anti-Muslim extremist has spent years funding America's largest Muslim civil rights group). Last month, Loomer asked a judge to let her withhold her remaining payments based on @RonDeSantis' unconstitutional proclamation targeting CAIR in Florida. The court just ruled in our favor, ordering Ms. Loomer to finish paying us back. We look forward to receiving Ms. Loomer's next check and, insha Allah, once again using her to money to defend American Muslims from hate while advancing civil rights for everyone in our nation. Using agents, I’ve made Sharh’s backend codebase self-healing, like an immune system. When unhandled errors bubble up, the codebase spins up agents to analyze the issue, make the improvements, and push changes without any human intervention needed. Should I do a write up?
