Similarly, Buzz Aldrin is extremely pro Trump and endorsed him multiple times. Idk why people are surprised astronauts are chuddy.

I abhor most judges but I’ve had some legendary run-ins with prima-donna mean nerd IT guys. Our current IT guy is chill but the guy before him was a useless autist asshole that I angered enough that he wouldn’t speak to me directly, I had to go through HR for requests
Fight With Memes@FightWithMemes

Watch this IT guy handle a tech issue for an arrogant judge. Then watch Karen the judge turn on him and threaten his job. 🤡:"Thanks. Get out of my courtroom..." 🤡: "Find his supervisor!" *torrent of profanity* I wonder if he takes his bad day out on the public, too?

I am being told that Chappell Roan, after the war, became a bootlegger in Allied-occupied Vienna and stole penicillin from the US army, diluted it, and sold it on the black market, specifically to children's hospitals

@HashtagGriswold I would consider pretty much everyone I work with to be literate, and it’s not rare that I use a word and people stare at me uncomprehending. Not weird arcane Bill Buckley words, either: something like “epiphenomenon” or “nonplussed”.

I think what’s getting lost in translation is *sixth* graders are basically fully literate on a technical level. The last 5-6 years of “English class” are really “literature class” and that’s where a lot of people don’t retain understanding of techniques, high level vocab, etc.
Reuben Rodriguez@ReubenR80027912

I refuse to believe that most Americans can not read at a 7th grade level If this is “true” then it means we are simply measuring literacy incorrectly; 163M Americans are actively employed Can your 6th grader read an employment contract? Read heavy machinery instructions?
