Sometimes I feel crazy because this is so obvious. MTV, Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Saturday morning cartoons. History shows the demonstrably true way to win the pop culture war is by investing in entertainment for younger generations, not older demographics. Meanwhile, almost every form of entertainment conservatives have built has been for 40-year-olds and much older. They've completely abandoned younger generations and, in so doing, removed themselves from any pop culture significance. It really is that simple. @Jon__Reed yeah the injury risk is really the only reason not to come back. No chance he believes that he plays the same or worse next season barring injury, and any significant improvement raises his stock a good bit, especially in a weaker draft

Honestly at this point, I need people to tell me why Nate Ament going to the NBA draft is the better choice for his future. The “second contract” thing is dumb and incredibly short-sighted. Injury concerns don’t hit when you have a top college QB returning. They make insurance. Money, both next year and in the future, point towards returning. Other than just wanting to be in the NBA or not trusting Tennessee’s coaching staff, there’s no reason to not come back to school.

@StevensBeavNVol @williampatteson Nate certainly, but I doubt a senior is getting picked that high regardless of how great their season is. Never say never but I strongly doubt it.

@williampatteson I know that it’s more complicated than I’m making it seem, but if Juke and Nate both came back, they both have the potential to be top 5 selections.

@williampatteson I can't know exactly where Juke feels satisfied with going, but if I'm him the 30s is still about a best-case for what I was hoping for in the draft. This isn't doomsday for the Vols or Michigan, but it's not a great sign either.

@williampatteson The takeaway from this one to me is that it is a complete toss-up whether Ament gets a spot that his camp is happy with financially. 13th is right on the edge for him, and that's about the best outcome possible in this draft. Good news for Tennessee (though nothing is certain)
