I regret to inform you that the Muslims are calling for new hate speech laws again. They want more monitoring for the “far right” online as well. They claim anti-Muslim hate is surging. Trying to censor and demonise people who disagree with you probably isn’t going to make them hate you less though. Christianity has largely has largely been neutered in much of the West. Certainly in NZ there is no risk of it impacting women's rights in policy & legislation. I have previously been very critical of the Catholic church & was raised Catholic myself, but it does not pose a credible threat to me personally. Islam on the other hand, is in the ascendancy in the West. Influence is growing & this is resulting in terrible increases in issues like sexual violence, FGM, "family voting", hate crimes against gays, and the return of pseudo-blasphemy laws. In NZ we do not have such a large Islamic population, but Britain (where I was born) this is a significant problem. I understand I am being accused of Islamophobia. To that I say "yes, yes I am afraid of an ideology that wants to oppress me for being female & kill me for being gay". If you have an issue with that perhaps you need to reflect on your own commitment to women's rights & liberal values.

It’s funny because sexual attraction is based on exaggerating the differences between men and women. Women have hourglass figures with smaller shoulders and bigger behinds. Dresses accentuate that. When a man wears a dress he’s actually demonstrating how different men and women are.

Our 4-year-old cat appears to have broken one of its front legs and is in a lot of pain. When I gently tried to examine it he bit (lightly) me and hissed for the first time (very out of character for him). Local vet closed at midday so was told to call their out-of-hours via @VetsNowUK. They’re demanding £350 just to look at him, with any treatment/medication on top at a premium. These are not people who care about animals. These are people who care about money.
