#go3spoilers what also baffles me is tha aziracrow didn’t fight harder for the humanity they already knew. the humans they interacted with on a daily basis and loved. it genuinely felt out of character for aziraphale to be so okay with just getting a shiny new universe.
fuck god i would've preferred them rewriting the book of life together and being the ones who gave humanity free will while at the same time choosing each other
i think the real issue is that we didn't have enough time. if we had a fleshed out season where we could see crowley realize they have the opportunity to save humanity without constraints (even at the cost of aziraphale) then i don't think people would be as upset at the finale
@sinnedverybigly see his switch from wanting to run away to wanting them to sacrifice themselves was way too rushed. the seeds were there in season 1 but the finale didn't explain it well enough
everyone on my tl that likes the ending is just completely ignoring the fact that it's literally not aziracrow at the end; all of their history is completely gone
@fruityomens boiling it down to the fandom being angry just because there wasn't a kiss is so insulting 😭 like no we're angry because aziracrow didn't get a proper emotional resolution and the finale was sloppy
@wilywitchwahoo@guessimdemons i felt like it was a lazy ending, reminiscent of all of those "it was just a dream" routes that stories take when they don't know what else to do
#GO3Spoilers
it's important for everyone to understand that the devastation some of us hold for the finale is not just because it wasn't the ending we wanted. it's the fact the stories that we came to love that existed in s1 & s2 are now nonexistent. that's why we are upset.
i think my biggest issue is that i felt like Our aziraphale and crowley never got an emotional resolution. they never even got to talk about their relationship or its recent upset for realsies. and now they never will and that is SO fucking sad
