@ALANMYERSMEDIA In other countries I have seen them use the traffic lights and traffic management to great affect and get majority of traffic away from the stadium in fast time. The traffic light system on the main intersections around the exits for BMD are ridiculous letting only 3 cars out 😡

🔵 #EFC have released the following statement regarding transport at Bramley Moore Dock: "The Everton Stadium Transport Group today (Friday) hosted a collaborative meeting to discuss learnings from the first test event at the Club’s new home. "Representatives from Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Liverpool City Council, Merseytravel, Merseyrail and travel consultants, along with supporter representation from the Everton Fan Advisory Board, Fans' Forum, EDSA and Everton Supporters' Club committee, met to explore achievable measures to further enhance the supporter experience going forward. "This meeting followed an earlier gathering this week, in which Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram and Councillor Liam Robinson, Leader of Liverpool City Council, met representatives of Everton fan groups, following initial feedback from Everton Stadium’s first test event. "Everton facilitated Friday’s meeting, which focused on learnings and enhancements to the overall transport plan ahead of the second test event, which is scheduled to take place next month. "Among topics covered were rail travel, a proposed increase in train services and staffing levels and improved access to Sandhills Station. Merseyrail reported on several plans to evolve the crowd control area at the station, which has been put in place to protect the island platform from overcrowding at peak times. "The park and ride provision via shuttle buses, better wayfinding to temporary bus stop locations and taxi ranks, measures to improve street lighting in the vicinity, Supporters' Club coach parking and better communications on the restrictions and, more importantly, the availability for blue badge parking in and around the stadium, were also discussed. "The Club and local authorities and transport providers have committed to future meetings to hear feedback from the second test event and inform ongoing plans ahead of the stadium's official opening for the 2025/26 season." #⃣ #TotalSport
