Cooper Connolly walked in on debut like the main character and owned the game. PBKS finally found someone who knows the goal is to win.

@__paleologo Debroy is best. I think that's what you have on shelf. Rajagopalachari's is ok, but Debroy better. I have a pdf because of space required.😅

Crazy how much Dadoji Konddev is sidelined today despite his documented role in Pune’s early development. What’s even more disappointing is the silence from the Deshastha Brahmin community itself historically influential, yet barely any visible pushback when his legacy was questioned or removed from public spaces. History is being rewritten under pressure by identity driven politics under pressure of casteists, unionists and hate mongers with even attempts reported to suppress or discredit historical records. That should concern anyone who values truth over narrative.

With utmost respect to Rajmata Jijabai her contribution to upbringing of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, However, Pune was not founded from scratch in the 17th century. It already existed and was later revived and developed with early reconstruction linked to Dadoji Konddev.

As per Valmiki Ramayana, Hanuman and other Vanaras were most probably Humans who lived in the forest and had insane body strength and agility. The description of Vanaras cannot apply to monkeys, they could speak Vedic language, had strength to uproot small trees and were intelligent enough to form a kingdom and have a formal administrative structure.
विवेकानन्दः@tallsanatani

Cholas gave him full human form because he was fully human. And used to wear "kapi vesha" or "monkey attire". This is as per Valmiki Ramayana 🙏🏻
