Giving up being a pro player was one of the hardest things I've had to accept at the time. But sometimes in life, you have to divert from what you think you want and follow what your instinct is telling you. Shifting from the path you're tunnel visioned on and trying something new may be the only way to grow and get what you desire in life.
I am a 28 y/o going back to uni with no job but I am happier than I have ever been.
It is never too late to seek what you truly desire ❤️

Extremely underwhelming and disappointing season of ESEA….
But the beautiful thing about the game and life is that perspective is everything. I have learned so much about the game and who I am as a player this season and I feel like I am making forward progress. The path to heaven runs through hell and no worthwhile journey will ever be easy.
The environment and atmosphere of @ReignSATX is absolutely incredible and something I have never had before. I am happy to be playing on a team where everyone supports me and cares about me on a human level. From teammates to everyone involved in the org I have received nothing but love. Life is so much more worthwhile and fun when you have brothers supporting you and holding you accountable.
It’s not always going to be easy in life, but trust me when I say success and happiness is not random. Those who feed positivity are rewarded and even in failure you feel successful. I can’t tell you how many times in my past I felt like a failure even when winning and succeeding because I was not surrounded by people who cared for me.
Whatever you do in life make sure you have brothers and sisters who believe in you and can give you back what you give out. Life is too short to be miserable and sad guys… trust me ❤️🥹

One of the biggest issues in NA is our lack of leadership & experience below the top ECL teams. When you compare the average age of teams in NA, to that of Brazil for example, it's actually quite crazy.
This issue stems from VALORANT taking our older guys for sure, but now, here we are. We need to push forward. So to do so we need more players to step up and become IGLs. We also need current IGLs to really go over & above and reach out to players you respect above you for advice. Personally, I've reached out to a ton of players in my career and always will, there is no shame.
We need to push ourselves harder to create better practice environments. Not everyone can start practice at noon without pay, I get that, but we also can start little by little. Hold yourself more accountable if you want to go far. Make FPL-C a better place, make FPL a better place, take your pugs and elo grind more serious. A lot of the issues stem from mentality & work ethic. But we can grow, there is talent here, we're just not developing as fast as almost any other region.
