Bradl, BradlLaw.com , counsel for Aidan Kearney, for immediate release: Based on the revelations by Attorneys Yanetti and Jackson in the case today, it appears to me that the dam is breaking in the Karen Read prosecution. The DA is about to be swamped by reason, logic, justice and evidence. Aidan was right all along and has suffered greatly. We should all thank him for facing down this dragon. This has been the most disgraceful chapter in Norfolk County law enforcement history since Sacco and Vanzetti. I don't know how these figures can ever show their faces in a Courtroom again. In the best interests of all innocent parties, here's what I think needs to happen immediately: Anti-First Amendment District Attorney Michael Morrissey needs to step down. The prosecutions of Aidan Kearney and Karen Read need to be ended forthwith by the Commonwealth, with the filing of a writ of Nolle Prosequi, a "Nolle Pross." The State Police need to remove the entire Norfolk County detective unit from this case and from the office. This unit never should have been allowed to trample the First Amendment and prosecute my client when they had a personal interest in stopping Turtleboy's journalism and exposure of some of these very same individuals. This was a conflict of interest, an abuse of power, and a sacrifice of our country's commitment to the Bill of Rights. An outside investigation needs to be commissioned to begin to fathom why a culture of impunity and lawlessness festers in these law enforcement institutions. I know so many elite, honorable, decent professionals in the State Police and the Norfolk DA's Office. They deserve a climate where they can proceed ethically with their investigations and conduct their prosecutions with honor and integrity. Let the federal indictments come forth, and let the healing begin. The people of Norfolk County deserve better

MSP seized 2 of #KarenRead’s phones on Wednesday in connection with special prosecutor Ken Mello’s investigation involving Aiden Kearney who’s been charged with witness intimidation. -The search warrant they used to get the phones has been returned to courthouse. -I requested it this morning but the clerk tells me it is impounded. (not public) -The return would detail all the the items MSP took and what MSP listed as the probable cause for requesting the warrant. #boston25
