@valbolds @according2_taz He has his UK protection when he visits the UK, just not an IPP status which is his real aim. If he got it, you as a taxpayer would be affected too, because whichever country he stays in, the country would pay for his protection.

He hasn’t ‘won’ anything. This is simply a review of the threat to his life when he visits the UK. As it is he has to give 30 days notice and still receives police protection which is a disgrace as it is! He had special officers sweep his hotel when last over in the UK costing taxpayers. This is becoming ridiculous that he given ANYTHING by this Country. He increased his own threat level, no doubt intentionally when he bragged about killing the Taliban in his book. The UK taxpayers shouldn’t be paying a single penny towards a man that quit his responsibilities to be a celebrity in America.

I believe I read that the newly appointed government leader for his security review was a known supporter of Harry and Meghan prior to her appointment to this position. I would imagine that they are in communication with her and have been for some time. Hence the new security review.

Harry set up a car chase in New York after telling the paps they’d pose for photos after the event and then drove off, so the paps followed. Harry’s two ‘scary’ experiences involve the UK, involved Sussexsquad fans at the Court house and then one at his hotel. One only yelled that she loved him. No different to real celebrity fans behave. But, they two women are His own fanbase. They weren’t threatening his life. I personally believe he’s set up these instances to push for a new security review.

I’m so disappointed in this. If Harry returns to the Royal Family, he will be a destructive force from within. Is King Charles really so unable to see with foresight how this will ultimately cause so much damage to the monarchy? I know he is ill and aged, but this is weak and will ruin his legacy.

I’m not a citizen of the UK or Commonwealth, but as a taxpayer in the US, I find it reprehensible that citizens of the UK would have to pay ANYTHING to to support this pathetic excuse for a prince/duke. He and his wife have single-handedly done as much as they possibly can to drag his family and the UK through the mud. Not to mention taking police and security officers away from their real work of protecting tax paying UK citizens and enforcing the law! Both he and his wife are beyond entitled and ridiculous. To hold an ancestral, artistocratic title in the UK is an honor, and something that one should uphold and respect through their behavior and morals. These two do the polar opposite. They are no better than Andrew, who loved his titles and did not try specifically to overtly drag his family into the cesspool he was swimming in; he behaved like a sick, entitled, greedy creep behind the scenes. His titles and honorifics were rightly stripped. The titles should be stripped sooner rather than later for these two and their children. Calling those children Prince and Princess in the US will ultimately prove socially embarrassing for the kids, as we do not honor royal titles and privileges the way the UK does. Unless it is a titled individual acting in an official capacity as a leader of their country and doing something good, like the King or Prince & Princess of Wales. Fostering the relationship between our countries and doing real good in the world. This is a farce. I don’t think the King will do it, and he will leave it for his eldest son when he becomes king to clean up. I feel awful for William, but he will hopefully do it. Thank goodness.

Now wouldn’t it be karma and hilarious, if they now downgraded him even further 🤣
