Was going to launch a paid mentorship on importing clean title cars from U.S. auctions. The right people, who sign up, would be making ₦5M+ a month. But the support here changed my plans. It’ll now be free thread series instead — Mon, Wed, Fri.

@sh3yitokz @abazwhyllzz Definitely not all. But a vast majority of them and I don’t feel like dealers should be going through the troubles to keep getting disrespected by people who don’t really understand the challenges of sourcing from copart and shipping to Nigeria. They deserve better

Most car dealers are buying dead cars from Copart and salvage auctions, and it's killing their business! There are actually 3 major places to source cars from the U.S., but most dealers only know one Thread below 🧵👇

@Sani_tt As for retail clients, no amount of info that I share here will enable them do it for their one off cars. If anything, it’ll help them realize that their budgets are most times lower and they need to adjust. It’ll also improve their experience with their broker

@Sani_tt Lol I’m really not… dealers will always learn all these secrets. My goal is to accelerate the learning process for them and have them save money rather than lose money

Now that you know the 3 major places to source cars from, which one have you been using? And which one surprised you the most? If you've been losing money buying cars, it's probably because you're using the wrong one Ask me anything about any of them, and I'll answer!

Because these dealerships are targeting retail clients, their cars are priced at retail price and can get too expensive. Also worth knowing is that a lot of them have difficult processes when it comes to closing deals for out-of-state buyers.

I made a promise to educate you guys and I’m keeping it. If you were following me prior to losing my old account, you’d know I’ve always loved educating people on what I know about this business. The great thing is I’ve learned a whole lot more and I’m now back to share them!

@BAMKY Though I'll say most of them do high end cars and it just makes sense to buy clean title for high end than salvage

@BAMKY This is also partly a reason. From my experiences with our dealers, though, as soon as they are onboard, most of them stop buying from Copart and IAA. Especially after their first cars get to Lagos and they see how fast it is to sell them.

I'd rather use ₦50M to play Arsenal to win the Champions League than buy Copart/IAA cars. And no, this is not rage bait. This is from someone who bought close to $1M worth of problems from Copart before saying, "Enough is enough." 🧵
