Caine fixed Gangle's mask I believe that to be the red AI. And now when it breaks later I'm wondering if that was the blue ai's doing because how else would it have broken? (I'm just headcanoning here) Maybe when an AI switches the doings of the past ai are undone somehow

Notice how Caine started glitching like we know now when the ais fight over who has control? As heartbreaking as it is I think this scene is telling us the blue AI was the one attacking them and as soon as the Red AI saw they were being hurt it began to oppose it

@voxhausted Uggghh there's a rlly interesting fic on ao3 where caine's true body it's just this all encompassing code and just uses his avatar like a puppet for visuals and I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME-

i'm so interested in the concept of the digital circus itself, of caine being the circus. how i see it at least is it's extension of caine, like his physical exterior, his actual body. and the character is caines mind and soul.
