Just bought some lemonade from some young girls in my Puyallup neighborhood and they said they we’re donating all the money they made today to Childrens Hospital. There is plenty of good out there and you don’t have to go far to find it!

I wanted my new children’s book to say the very thing that I needed to hear as a kid, and that I want my kids to hear and know deep in their bones, and that I hope your kids will hear and believe, too:

I let my daughter scroll Instagram a little yesterday and she liked one of my own posts. I told her and she goes “Why wouldn’t you like your own post if you made it?” And that’s the kind of energy I want to bring into the world.
