That's actual cash flow and usage — not narrative, not correlation. 6/ Proof correlation isn't absolute: during a recent broad pullback, memecoins like PEPE/DOGE/TRUMP dropped 3.5-4.5%, while MORPHO and ZEC moved the opposite direction over the same week. Selective decoupling is happening in real time. 7/ Current market context backs this up: at ~58% BTC dominance, fewer than 1 in 10 altcoins are outperforming BTC. This isn't 2021-style "everything pumps together." Capital is rewarding tokens with verifiable catalysts — upgrades, revenue, ETF flows — and ignoring the rest. 8/ Bottom line: BTC dropping is like a tide going out — most boats sink with it.
